Need people to test your app before everyone sees it? Open a beta.
Meet Thandi. Spaza Ledger is live, and she wants testers for a new feature: stock alerts.
From her page, she taps Open a beta, and picks how people get in: an open link, TestFlight, a Google Play test, or she adds them herself.
Then how many testers, an end date, and up to three things to try.
On Google Play? New developer accounts need twelve testers for fourteen days in a row. Ask for a few more, since some drop out.
Testers join from her listing and get the link. Their rings show on the beta.
For each version, they send her private feedback. Only Thandi sees it.
When feedback helps, she marks it "This helped", and credits them when she ships.
Test it with people who want to help. versionone.co.za
