Founding stories are short pieces on the first people building here. Here's how yours gets written.

When the Version One team asks a founding builder, they get one email. It takes about ten minutes, and it saves as you go.

Thandi answers seven questions, one a screen. They start from what her listing already says.

If an answer is short, we ask once for a bit more. She can add to it, or keep it as it is.

She picks a photo, and ticks to say we may write a story from her answers.

The team writes the story. Thandi sees it exactly as it'll look, on a computer and on a phone.

If it's right, she approves it. If something's off, she asks for a change. Nothing goes up until she says so.

And she can take it down any time, from Settings.
